Shadetec offers premium wood plantation shutters, featuring Norman and Hunter Douglas brands, suitable for commercial spaces like hotels and offices. These shutters are stylish, durable, and easy to maintain.
### COMPLETE CUSTOMIZATION
Our extensive range of options ensures that our shutters can be tailored to suit any space. We provide a diverse selection of paint colors, including light gray, charcoal gray, and black, as well as various shades of white, earth tones, and stains. Additionally, we offer custom painting or staining to complement any decor. Clients can select from a variety of louver widths, trim moldings, inside mount frames, outside mount frames, invisible tilt rods, and more.
### VARIETY OF MATERIALS
Our custom shutters are crafted from a variety of materials, including real wood, composites, and polymers. We are dedicated to advising you on the material that best meets your requirements. Our product line includes shutters with door handle cutouts for French doors, sliding shutters on tracks for sliding doors, and bi-folding panels. Furthermore, our shutters are designed without cords, providing a safe option for households with young children.
### HOW IT WORKS
Shutters are precisely tailored to fit doors and windows. Unlike other window treatments, plantation shutters are installed within the window frame, occupying the entire space. Instead of moving vertically or horizontally like most window blinds, plantation shutters operate with a rod or can be fully opened like a door. To allow sunlight or a breeze while preserving privacy, simply adjust the shutters accordingly.
### WHAT TO CONSIDER
Consider whether to mount shutters inside the window frame or on the wall. Inside mounts fit within the opening, while outside mounts are used for shallow windows or a more prominent look.
### FRAME WIDTH
The majority of our shutters are equipped with a surrounding frame that secures the plantation shutter in position. For those considering an inside mount placement, opting for a smaller frame permits increased light entry when the shutter slats are open. Conversely, if an outside mount is preferred, or if ample light is available, the selection should be made in accordance with the room's style. Larger frames are well-suited to complement larger trim and detailed room features.
### OPTIONS
There are several upgrade options available, including cloth tapes, routeless slats, cordless operation, and motorization. Cloth tapes are designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and soften the appearance of the shutter. Routeless slats elevate light control and privacy by providing superior room darkening. Cordless operation ensures ease of use and is a crucial safety feature for homes with young children, as loose cords can pose a hazard.
